As beautiful as Ubud, Bali is, getting into and out of restaurants and shops can be very difficult. Ubud offers very little wheelchair accessibility. But, you CAN get around Ubud in a wheelchair and I saw a couple of folks in wheelchairs in Ubud. . .

Take a cab if you're just hopping to the Neka Art Museum or the Antonio Blanco Renaissance Museum - somewhere out of walking distance yet a distance that's close enough not to warrant hiring a driver for half a day . . .
