Overview: One of the first things you'll notice about Chiang Mai's Airport are the resorty, simple baggage claim conveyor belts. Not built for industrial traffic and weight, the conveyor belts revolve slowly, surrounded by plants, representative Thai furnishings and advertisements.
Chiang Mai's International Airport is relatively small but increasing its facilities due to the Chiang Mai's popularity as a top tourist destination. It's easy to get around because it's just one long building with two floors. Arrival and departure drop off points are both in the front of the airport building.
