Mactan Cebu International Airport
Overview: The Mactan-Cebu International Airport is located 12 miles east of Cebu City on Mactan Island. The airport, not surprisingly, is a smallish airport but the service and staff at the airport are great. Here is a heads up about taking wheelchairs to the door of a plane and getting your wheelchair at the door of a plane at arrival: in the Philippines, it is not a customary practice to bring your wheelchair to the door of a plane or even gate at arrival. You can take your own wheelchair to the door at departure though. Only at the Clark Airport did I ever see my wheelchair at the door of the plane and that's because the planes were small and way out on the tarmac. The ground staff just unloaded the wheelchair and had it waiting for me.

Fees: Domestic departure fee from Manila to Cebu is P200. Departure Fee from Cebu is P750.
Terminals: International on the ground level and Domestic on the second floor.
Handicap Airport Services: Yes and the handicap service is great. They will help you through immigration and customes and retrieve your luggage and see that you get on a cab, if you want or need that assistance.
Staff: Professional, helpful, friendly and sharp
Money, Cash Machines ATMs: There is an Express Teller ATM in the international arrival hall of the Ninoy Airport. You can withdraw only 10,000 pesos at a time. You can withdraw P10,000 multiple time.
Bathrooms: The bathrooms in the domestic terminal are not wheelchair friendly. The doors are fairly narrow and you must get out of your wheelchair, transfer to a toilet and push the wheelchair out.
Airport Transportation:
Notes: There are a couple of options to get from the Mactan Cebu Airport to Cebu City: by cab, metered and prepaid and by private car service
Cabs: Prepaid Coupons: The international arrival hall is on the ground level and the exit is as well. Outside the exit to the right is a Taxi Service Counter or kiosk. You must pay a flat rate of P295 for a taxi.
Cabs: Metered: Get to the domestic terminal on the second floor. There, you will find metered taxis.
Cost: Prepaid Coupon is P295. Metered taxi to Fuente Osmena or city center costs around P155 during traffic hours. It should take 40 min.
Private Cars: Private cars or limo sedans cost P400
