LAYOUT

There are three districts in the city center: The city center has Austrias (has a bunch of alleyways), Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol (just east and has a ton of bars, etc.), Gran Via, the main street, which boasts the most fabulous street-line view of buildings, and Ensanche area, which consists of Salamanca quarter (you can find the US Embassy here). Salamanca is also the ritzy area.
