INTERNET
July Seven Tour & Travel
Kind of a specific and odd name for a business (obviously has some meaning to the owners). But this store offers a multiples services, including travel service, art gallery, car rental and internet service. I liked their service a lot and the place had the most wheelchair accessible internet service.
Location: Jalan Monkey Forest, Ubud, Bali 80571
Email: julyseven_dewa@telkom.net, adiwisma@yahoo.com
Ph: 62 361 971 422
Cost: Internet rate, Rp12,000 per hour
Accessibility: The most wheelchair accessible internet place. The store is kind of crowded with art pieces and the price of the internet maybe higher than other places but you have your privacy (well, next to the business desk of the staff).
SIM CARDS
It’s important to note that SIM cards are not sold at convenience stores. SIM Cards in Bali can only be bought at mobile stores that have the “SIM Cards” as well as photo shops. Sim cards in Indonesia have to be registered and you need an ID number for that. The clerks at the stores have to put SIM cards into their own phones and register them. This is the process that I had to go through in Kuta and Sanur as well as in Ubud. See Ubud Convenience Stores section.
Ubud Music, Kodak Film store and Alit Shop can give you minutes on your SIM card.

UBUD, BALI CONVENIENCE STORES
Overview: lots of convenience stores in Ubud. Many are 24 hour chains. I found the local mom and pop stores to be wheelchair accessible by virtue of having simple, no-front-door, open-air designs.
Mom & Pop Stores
I found the local mom and pop stores to be wheelchair accessible by virtue of having simple, no-front-door, open-air designs.

LAUNDRY
Bakti Laundry
Notes: Fantastic, inexpensive laundry mat. I took loads of laundry there. There is a flight of stairs but like so many other Bali establishments, Bakti Laundry doesn’t have a front door and the staff, perched at the top of the stairs, will see you and come down. It’s right across the street from Ubud Inn Spa.
